The Interactive Map
Dear Collaborative Members, Colleagues and Partners,
We know many of you are asking about the Interactive Map.
Thank you for caring about this tool and for being patient.
The Map used to be run by a former member. We have now finished moving it over to our team. We are rebuilding it so it will be easier for everyone to use.
Please watch for updates in the next few months.
We are excited to make the Map better and will ask for your ideas before we launch it again.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you. We are hopeful and grateful as we work with you to make self‑direction available to everyone,
Marian

Since the start of Covid-19, The Collaborative for Citizen Directed Supports of NJ (staffed by volunteers), has been working diligently in connecting available Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) & Self-Directed Employees (SDEs) with people who are in need of their services.
We are acting as the bridge for people in need of services
and those who can provide services.
This work-in-progress includes The Interactive Map that indicates where
DSPs / SDEs are available for work now so that people and families
can contact them directly for an immediate start date.
People and families in need of services can also post their request
for support on The Interactive Map!
Who Does The Interactive Map Benefit?
Self-Advocates
A Self-Advocate is a person with disabilities who is interested in self-directing their services.
Self-Directed Employees
Self-Directed Employees are self-employed professionals who support people with disabilities.
Direct Support Agencies
DSP Agencies are provider agencies who hire direct support professionals to provide services to people with disabilties.
