This is a contracted, remote position of $45 per hour.

 

This position reports to the Board Chair and is responsible for leading, organizing and ensuring the completion of all organizational priorities as assigned by the Board of Directors.

Position Description and Required Skills

Basic skillset:

​

  • Competent in the use of Technology (Adobe, Canva, Zoom, G- Suite, YouTube, PayPal, FB, Excel, Word, PPT, Constant Contact, Wix)

  • Experience with marketing

  • Excels in administrative tasks

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication

  • Experience with community engagement and outreach, connecting to all stakeholders

  • Must be creative, organized, have initiative and be able to work independently

Tasks of Role:

​

  • Writing of grant application, reports/summaries

  • PPT presentation creations. Ongoing updates to Collaborative Interactive Map PPT

  • Marketing (FB posts, email blasts, outreach, connecting with groups)

  • Create Flyers (using Canva or Adobe)

  • Create Email campaigns (using Constant Contact)

  • Website updates (Wix), including events, registration links, flyers each month and ongoing

  • Ensuring effective logistics for all community webinars and events including creating Zoom links for webinars: email to teams, create/monitor/maintain spreadsheets to track attendees, registrants, who is presenting (along with Map Facilitator)

  • Communicate Collab info on behalf of team: point person for all things Collaborative related

  • Organize the volunteers, meetings, agenda, etc.

  • Communicate and track all expenses, ensuring all are submitted on time

  • YouTube channel maintenance and community webinar recording uploads

  • Respond to emails and other Collaborative communication

  • Maintenance of Google Drive and/or Microsoft SharePoint

Interactive Map Tasks:

​

Supervising the Interactive Map Facilitators and the Self Advocate Advisor, including scheduling their priorities, educating and mentoring, and ensuring follow up and completion of tasks:

​

  • Create and send invoices via PayPal

  • Track/record invoices and due dates for Collaborative memberships

  • Manage/record/track TOS of agencies and Collaborative members

  • Communicate, respond and follow up to Collaborative Map Membership inquiries, management of invoicing and Terms of Service

  • Review and approval of invoices for Self-Advocate and Map Facilitators, send to VIANJ finance team for payment and final approval

Self-Direction Conference Tasks:

​

  • Administrative aspects of Self-Direction Planning Committee- taking of meeting note minutes, follow up on assigned tasks, communications, organizing, scheduling, reminding of monthly planning meetings

  • Organizing and management of agenda/workshop schedule, obtainment of speakers

  • Marketing of SDC- content and flyer creation, communications, press releases

  • Creation and scheduling of workshops in agenda, organizing and scheduling of webinars via Zoom

  • Creation of original graphics & marketing fliers

  • Uploading SDC recordings to YouTube- creation of thumbnail graphics, adding webinar descriptions, creation of SDC playlist

  • Obtainment of ASL and language interpreters for Conference
